The Hidalgo County Active Transportation and Active Tourism Plan will guide the development of a framework system of off-road (trails, sidepaths, etc.) and on-road facilities (bike lanes, sharrows, etc.) that will ultimately connect users to key destinations within Hidalgo County and provide connections between adjacent communities where feasible.
