Mechanisms affecting resilience at the regional level are multivariate and the depth, scale, and level of detail of the analysis pursued should be gauged by budget and time. The sustainability and resilience analysis, which spaces beyond just roadway infrastructure, provides mid-sized MPO regions with a framework and tools to develop a more resilient community and a reliable approach to transportation systems as an agent of sustainability.  

Resilience & Sustainability Subcommittee members will be involved in the development of a regional risk profile, an equity analysis, qualitative and quantitative project evaluation criteria, and a regional resilience plan that includes policies, programs, and projects.

Performance management is the process of ensuring that a set of activities and outputs meets a set of defined goals in an effective and efficient manner. A high-level perspective of the intent of performance-based planning is necessary in order to synthesize seemingly disparate inputs.  

The Performance Measures Subcommittee has been established to provide guidance and increase transparency as the RGVMPO moves forward in developing a performance measures (PM) framework with Alliance Transportation Group (ATG).

PM Subcommittee members will be involved in the development of a project performance indicator review process, a project scoring review process, a data management process, performance management workshop curricula, user guides, and an implementation plan that comply with Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) requirements.
